This policy explains what information Aussieblock, LLC collects through aussie-block.com, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. We sell block and concrete — we don't sell information about the people who ask us for a quote.
What we collect
Almost everything we hold, you handed us on purpose.
Information you submit
When you fill out our quote request form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, city and state, the project type you select, and whatever you write in the project description. If you call or email us instead, we keep what you tell us in that conversation.
Information collected automatically
We do not run web analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on this site. Our web host records standard server request logs — including IP addresses — for security and reliability, as nearly every web host does. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and answer questions about products, availability, and pricing
- To prepare estimates, material takeoffs, and delivery quotes
- To follow up on an active or recent project
- To keep ordinary business, order, and tax records
- To comply with the law when we're required to
That's the list. We don't use your information for anything unrelated to the project you contacted us about.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, lead resellers, or advertising networks.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — our web host, our email provider, and the provider that powers the chat assistant described below — and only to the extent they need it to do that work. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
Text messages
We do not send marketing text messages. Giving us your phone number on the quote form is not consent to a texting program, because we don't run one. We'll use your number to call you about your project, and that's it.
If we ever start a text messaging program, we'll update this policy first, ask for your consent separately, and give you a way to stop the messages. Any consent you give for text messages will never be shared with a third party for any purpose.
Chat assistant
Our site may offer an AI chat assistant that answers questions about our products. Messages you type into it are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the response, and may be retained briefly by that provider for abuse monitoring. The assistant does not quote prices or take orders.
Please don't enter sensitive information — payment details, account numbers, or identification numbers — into the chat. If you need to share something like that, call us.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and project records as long as we need them for the project, for warranty and dispute purposes, and to satisfy tax and recordkeeping requirements. When a record no longer serves any of those purposes, we dispose of it.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email or call us using the information below, and we'll take care of it. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request about someone's records.
Texas residents
Texas has a consumer data privacy law, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Regardless of how it applies to a business our size, we honor requests to access, correct, or delete personal information, and we do not sell personal data. Contact us using the information below.
Children
This site is meant for builders, contractors, and property owners. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll remove it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — so please use the phone for anything genuinely sensitive.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the revised version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Material changes to how we use your information will be described in plain terms rather than buried.
